In-app purchases
Where is the Supporter Pack?
The Supporter Pack is the game's only purchase — a one-time, non-consumable pack of cosmetic items with no gameplay advantage. To find it:
- Open the app and wait for the main menu (no account or sign-in is required).
- Tap the gold SUPPORTER PACK button near the top of the main menu, just below the game title — or scroll down to the SHIP EDITOR card, tap Open Editor, and scroll to the bottom of the cosmetics list.
- Tap the gold Supporter Pack button to open Apple's purchase sheet.
How do I restore a purchase I already made?
Tap SUPPORTER PACK on the main menu (or open the Ship Editor and scroll to the bottom) and tap Restore purchases. Make sure the device is signed into the same Apple ID that made the original purchase. In the Discord Activity, ownership follows your Discord account — use Restore purchase on the Supporter Pack card.
I bought the pack but my cosmetics are missing
Cosmetic unlocks are stored on your device. Reinstalling the app, clearing browser storage, or switching to another device clears them — use Restore purchases to bring the pack back. If restore doesn't work, email us with the date of purchase and we'll sort it out.
Refunds
Purchases made in the iOS app are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Purchases made in the Discord Activity are handled by Discord — contact Discord Support. We can't issue refunds for either store directly, but email us if you get stuck and we'll help.
Playing the game
Do I need an account?
No. Type a callsign (2–12 letters) and press Start. Progress, cosmetics, and career stats are saved on your device.
I can't connect to a match
Matches run on a live server, so the game needs an internet connection. Try switching between
Wi-Fi and cellular, closing and reopening the app, and confirming that a VPN or content
blocker isn't blocking game.galacticoverkill.com. If it still fails, email us with
your country and network type.
My progress or achievements disappeared
Career progress lives in on-device storage. On iOS it is tied to the Game Center player that first signed in on the device — signing in as a different Game Center account starts a separate profile, and switching back restores the original one. In a browser, clearing site data or using private browsing clears progress.
How do I report or block another player?
Open Settings (the gear icon) and use Report or Block a Player. Blocking hides that callsign and its chat on your device. Three independent reports against the same connected player automatically mask that player's callsign and disable their chat for the rest of the room session. You can also email us with the callsign and what happened.
Sound, haptics, or motion settings
Open Settings (the gear icon) to toggle music, sound effects, haptics, and reduced motion.
Privacy and your data
Galactic Overkill has no user accounts and stores your progress on your own device. To delete your data, uninstall the app (or clear site data in the browser). For details on what the game transmits during a match, see the Privacy Policy, or email us with a data question.
